Remember, all pest control starts with YOU. Check the seals around your doors and windows quarterly to make sure that they seal properly. Keep your landscaping (bushes, trees, etc.) trimmed back away from the house. Store pet food and bird seed in plastic containers. Rake birdseed out from around the bird feeders. Use rubber mulch or remove mulch before bedding down new. Reduce leaf litter periodically. Pest control works the best when homeowners and companies work together. And the best weapon against a spider is your broom.
